Regional Presentations

Here are the due dates for our regional presentations. Remember to check them off as you meet them on the assignment sheet distributed in class.

Oct. 24 -- choose topic and group (or choose to work alone)

Sept. 30 -- textbook notes made in class due

Oct 6 -- Independent research notes due (note, this is not a print out but selected facts in your own words. Use one of the note-taking formats we practiced in class)

Oct. 9 -- Media components due (at least 2-3 of: charts, diagrams, timelines, flow charts, graphs, models, Venn diagrams, first person journal entries, jackdaws, skits etc.)

Oct. 13 -- Final deadline for all components. Oral presentations begin today.

Good luck and remember to do some history homework every evening in order to stay ahead of these deadlines! If you are ahead, use class work time to stay ahead. We all want you to succeed and do a good job -- something that becomes difficult to do at the last minute.

- create a hand-written non-fiction or fiction ending for the Harrison Bergeron story (1 page for single spaced, 1-2 pages for double spaced) : due tomorrow (Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008)

- bring in the first day package forms (if you do it by tomorrow, there's a treat in store!)
